Questions? We've Got Answers
It varies by project, but a factor that can impact the cost of a retaining wall will be reinforcement because you have to add a Geogrid behind the wall. Also, in cases where the wall is higher than 4 feet tall or the land is an ECA (Environmental Critical Area), those factors require the homeowner to get a permit from the city, which also needs to be addressed by geotechnical engineers.
We place perforated pipes at the base of the wall to direct water away from behind the wall. The pipes should extend the entire length of the wall and be vented at regular intervals. We fill the space behind the wall with gravel or crushed stone, which allow water to pass through.
Yes, in cases of fallen retaining walls where pedestrians or traffic could be jeopardized.
We can connect you with our Geotechnical engineer who can help with the permit.
Blocks and Big Basalt Rocks could be long-lasting options.
Yes, we offer warranty on workmanship but not on the materials.
We usually start the project within 30 days of the signing date, but depending on project complications, it could be sooner.
