We Build to Code
Rockery walls do not need a construction permit if the following 3 conditions are met (Seattle Department of Construction & Inspections).
1. The wall is 4 feet or lower in height
2. The wall is not located in or near an environmentally critical area.
3. The wall will not damage adjoining properties during or after construction of the wall.
If you don’t meet these 3 conditions, we can help!
We partner with geotechnical engineers and guide you through the process of getting a new construction permit.
Cost & Time
How much does it cost and how long does the work take? It depends on:
1. The Project
Each project and environment is unique so we consider your goals and bring a personalized approach.
2. Area/Location of Work
If there is access for machinery on your site, this can greatly decrease the work time.
For example, in a 1,000 sq. ft. space, excavator access can cut the work time in half compared to manual labor.
3. Product Selection
We have a diverse selection of materials and finishes to choose from. So the products you select is important to calculate the cost and time.
4. Size of the Project
We work on projects of any size, with costs and time estimates varying based on the scope of the work.

Questions? We Got Answers
It varies, but the factors that influence the price are project difficulty, ease of access, and project size.
It depends on the access to the project and the size of the project. We have top-notch equipment to do the job efficiently and quickly compared to our competition.
It is usually up to you but our experienced personnel will help explain the best materials and color options based on your property.
We ensure proper drainage by adding perforated pipes behind the wall which are wrapped in fabric and covered with drain rocks. One of the biggest reasons for falling walls is because they have no drainage behind them. We make sure to add proper drainage in every wall.
Work can start as soon as 2-4 weeks, sometime sooner depending on the project. We have the equipment and personnel to get to projects faster than competitors.
